Her Health OBGYN & Fertility Center

If you want a doctor or OB to not care about you then this is the perfect place for you. I’ve been to many ob gyns over the years but this one takes the cake. First of all the staff NEVER answers the phone, they’ll give you whichever excuse they can come up with to not get back to you. I had to walk in to make an appointment and even then I was told I had to be placed on a waiting list because they didn’t have new patient appointments. My very first appointment and encounter with the doctor was horrible. She was condescending and made me feel like my concerns weren’t important. She seemed very annoyed with me about everything. Dr Naima Khamsi shouldn’t be a fertility doctor if she doesn’t have any compassion for her patients. Please find a different location to establish care. This place doesn’t care about the women coming in.

Its our fist pregnancy and my wife has been going here for the last few months. They have you see all the doctors on a rotation which wouldnt be too bad if not for Dr Suarez who is by far the most incompetent doctor Ive ever come across. She completely forgot about my wife, leaving her alone for about an hour in the exam room. Then she forgot to send in a test leaving my wife to suffer from an infection for 2 weeks before someone competent sent it in and gave us the results. The other doctors are great but the whole practice suffers when you have a doctor like Suarez being incredibly negligent and unprofessional

HerHealth has amazing and knowledgeable Doctors. So grateful to all of them for taking care of me throughout my pregnancy journey. The medical assistants are nice and attentive too. Would always recommend this clinic. 👍

Medical care isn’t bad and the staff is really nice, however any time I need to call, I have to try for weeks before I can get in touch with anyone which I think can be very harmful for patients of a medical clinic.

The staff is unresponsive. They never answer the phone and since the voicemail isnt setup you can even leave a message. Ive been trying to schedule my appointment since may, when I finally got someone they took my name but couldnt schedule because they were as till working on schedules and said they would call me. I still havent heard back: Im just going to go to another ob

Dr. L is absolutely amazing! She is knowledgeable, kind, professional, understanding and most of all she tailors her care to her patients needs. This is the best experience I have ever had with an OB!

I have had two babies and two surgeries with Dr Gutierrez. She is amazing. I have nothing but praise for her. One of my deliveries ended up being an emergency c-section and she was brilliant and took great care of us both.As for the staff, they’ve always been nice and apologetic when something isn’t working, even if I have a complaint. The nurses and PAs are also very kind. As for the long wait times that other people talked about, I experienced several 6+ hour, yes SIX HOURS, waits at my OB before HerHealth so I don’t mind waiting there.:)

I went to Her Health for both of my pregnancies and was seen by Dr. Gutierrez both times. I was highly satisfied with her care and felt that she went above abs beyond to answer all my questions and handle any concerns I had. Dr. Gutierrez has amazing bedside manner and is kind and patient when providing care. Dr. Gutierrez was also present for both of my deliveries. I felt very comfortable with her and I also liked how well she got along with all the hospital staff. I highly recommend her and would definitely see her again in the future.

Ive delivered (highrisk) 2 babies and Ive had 2 surgeries with Dr. Gutierrez and had a great experience each time. My last delivery was an emergency c-section after a umbilical cord prolapse that happened at home. When the ambulance arrived at the hospital Dr. G and her team were suited up and ready for us. Thank God because my daughter survived and is very healthy girl!Wait times werent bad. They are a busy office so I made sure not to miss any appointments.I also had appointments with Dr. Suarez and Dr. L... they were very pleasant and had good bedside manner.

Best care I’ve ever had, Dr. Gutierrez was amazing throughout my entire pregnancy. As a first time mom I was really scared, she took the time to guide and prepare me. The office staff was always friendly and willing to assist. By far the most accessible group of physicians!

I’m so grateful to Dr Gutierrez for caring for me and my babies. She has amazing bedside manner and I appreciate her compassion and expertise during my most difficult pregnancies.The staff and nurses have always been kind and courteous and the office itself is always clean.Whenever I call to speak to the medical assistant and can’t get through I call again and speak to the receptionist, she has always answered my questions or concerns and forwards my message to the doctor.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! I highly recommend Dr. Laura Gutierrez!! I felt very comfortable and informed during the prenatal care visits. She always took plenty of time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. The day I went into labor Dr. Gutierrez quickly rushed to the hospital. In fact, we arrived at the hospital at the same time and when she noticed I was getting out of my car, she came over to meet me and then helped me enter the hospital and walked me all the way to my delivery room! Dr. Gutierrez quickly assessed the situation and monitored me closely, never leaving my room until I delivered my son naturally. I had a beautiful peaceful birth. From beginning to end it was a very positive experience.Ill also add that the wait times at the Eastside office were short and the staff was very friendly.

Dr. Gutierrez took care of me and my baby. She made sure all my blood work was monitored during my pregnancy. I had a C section and she left a beautiful hardly noticeable incision. In fact my dermatologist was impressed. She is very personable and cares for her patients. Highly recommend Dr G!

Both, Dr. Suarez and Lazzaretta, have exceptional bedside manners. I was referred by Dr. Franck who had a similar procedure done and had a great experience with the clinic. My experience was excellent - to include the front office. I was scheduled quickly and was helped with scheduling my appointments for additional lab work with other offices. I am so grateful and thankful to Her Health.

Just finished having my second baby with this practice! Dr. Gutierrez is by far one of the most caring OBGYNs I’ve ever met. When explaining my worries and concerns throughout my pregnancies I felt like she actually listened and offered solutions. My second baby was breech, completely head up, and I explained I was determined to avoid a c section at all costs. She performed an ECV (she flipped him) and I was able to have a successful vaginal delivery. Overall, she was very supportive of what I wanted and did everything she could to make it happen. Another plus is that the other doctors are also great!

If you value your pregnancy and future babies life do not come here. Most of the reviews youll see here are accurate. They DO NOT answer their business phone. My wife at times has called 30+ times with no answer. Other times, during normal business hours they turn their phone to a after hours message. A teenager can setup a phone no problem but a business cant? So if you have an emergency or are at the hospital and they try to reach them you nor they have any way to reach them. They try to opt you into texting which Ive never known or seen any business say dont call just text us. The staff and Dr Gutierrez is very dismissive and totally heartless. My wife is high risk which is why we chose this place as they should specialize in it, in the total time we were supposed to be patients they moved back her first appointment multiple times, something you dont do with high risk. Gutierrez even told her as her numbers got so high they would not be doing anymore blood work, again something you dont do with high risk as constant monitoring is very important. When she was in the hospital recently for a complication, we could not reach them due to that after hours message, I go there and theyre open. After expressing my grievances Gutierrez called my wife in the ER called her a liar telling her shes not in the hospital and said shes dropping us from her careFor anyone reading this please look at all the reviews and understand this place is not for anyone healthy or not to have served their pregnancy needs.

I really wanted to like this office but their answering service is probably the worst on the planet not to mention the nurse assistant at the westside location with the worst attitude. The entire experience has been stressful to say the least I hope you guys read this and do better!!!!

Dr. Suarez and the front desk team (Janine)are wonderful. I went to see Dr. Suarez for the removal of polyup and a endometrial ablation. From my 1st visit she was able to make diagnoses and offer me a solution. I had surgery on Friday and there was a small mixup with my medication Though it was the weekend and after hours Crystal reached out and was super attentive and helped answer my questions about my medication and consult with Dr. Suarez to let her know how I was feeling. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new OBGYN to go here. They are the best compassionate caring and excellent team. I also want to mention appointment times are kept at each patient’s scheduled time. I’ve never waited more than 10 miles to be called in to the back.

Had the best and most professional care. Dr. Gutierrez and Dr. Larrazaleta assisted me during my pregnancy and labor. They were reliable, always available and compassionate. I appreciated the happy environment and always felt welcomed. I recommend 100%.

I just had my baby in August and I 10/10 highly recommend her health obgyn to all my friends, family and clients. You don’t only get your main Dr. but you also see all other 3 providers in case your Dr. isn’t available. Dr. Gutierrez was my main and she was the best! Very nice, professional and attentive. This was my first baby so I was very scared and worried since the day I found out i was pregnant. I felt safe in her hands due to some complications I was having that she kept up with. I got to meet all the providers throughout my visits which was good because I ended up being induced 5 weeks early. Dr. Suarez broke my water and Dr. Larrazaleta ended up delivering my baby so they weren’t strangers. I had a fast and easy experience thanks to all the Drs. being very communicative and attentive to me. They all made me feel very comfortable and taken care of even after I had delivered. Finding an OB is very difficult especially getting into one so don’t knock them until you try them. Everyone’s experiences are different and I really enjoyed going here.

For my first pregnancy, I’ve had such a wonderful experience from start to finish to now preventative practice and routine annual exams. Dr. Guttierrez has given me exceptional care and always established a good rappor with me and my partner considering the new experience of being a first time mother. Dr. Guttierrez has always been in office when I had my appointments and she has guided me through each month of the babies growth. She is attentive, caring, and helpful toward pregnancy. When my water broke I was unaware, I still reached out to her and explained what happened as she asked me questions she immediately directed me to the hospital and sure enough I was 5 cm, she has always been responsive with the essence of the time and has always explained what the next step would be. During delivery I was amazed of how synchronized the staff was as well as the attention Dr.Gutierrez gave me during the delivery. My follow up visit was completed. I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this office however made Guttierrez was amazing and I’m so glad I got to experience it with her, the knowledge Dr. Guttierrez also shared was helpful especially since a first time mother is always scary I would recommended Dr. Gutiérrez.

All of the physicians at Her Health OB/GYN are phenomenal! They provide exceptional patient care, compassionate consultations, and will treat you like family! I have worked with each of these beautiful ladies as a Labor & Delivery RN for many years and have entrusted them with my personal obstetric care as well as my GYN needs. Their knowledge and superior skill set truly is remarkable! Dr. Suarez, Dr. Larrazaleta, Dr. Gutierrez, and Dr. Khamsi are without a doubt who I recommend to all my friends and patients. All the doctors at this practice are amazing! I’m a patient of Dr. Gutierrez but have had the opportunity to see all 3. They don’t take forever to see you and they are very responsive. I’m super super happy with their service and I highly recommend them.

It was the worst experience ever a lot of pain I had to go to the hospital for 2 days because of extreme pain I missed one appointment because of an family emergency I did call a day before my appointment and they didn’t want to see me again they banned me from the clinic for that one appointment super disappointing

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I came here because I wanted an OB close to my house. After the first visit I could see where the negative reviews about the front desk/staff were coming from. Now, I FULLY understand where they’re coming from. The front desk/staff are a MESS. Anytime I had a set appointment time, requested time off from work for that appointment, they would call me to reschedule. Of the four times I had appointments here, three were rescheduled. When I came in for an appointment that they rescheduled, I show up and they tell me I’m too early. I explained that THEY had rescheduled me for earlier and they were insistent that they didn’t until I showed them the text message they had sent, confirming the new time they had scheduled for me. They would forget to send prescriptions to the pharmacy for me and when I would call to see if they could send the prescription no one would answer, I would text, no answer or an answer telling me the prescription was sent, when it wasn’t. Test results were NEVER sent to my house until I called, and called, and called, until someone answered and told me what they were. They didn’t mail the results to my house as they stated they would. I come in today for my last appointment and of course, they called to reschedule it, and then stated they didn’t have the payment from me, even though I had sent them my card through message and they stated they wouldn’t attend me until I paid, even if it meant that my wound would get infected. I let them know I had sent payment to them beforehand and the front desk lady stated she didn’t take payment from me, I asked her to stop gaslighting me because I remember it had been her, at the end she goes, “oh yeah, I remember now, sorry.” The doctors, not bad. But the staff, which is primarily who you interact/schedule/deal with, HORRIBLE.

They dont answer the phone. Ive been calling all week at different times and they dont have a voicemail set up. I literally just need them to refill my prescription. Ridiculous!

The young girl at the front desk is super sweet. I definitely cannot say the same about the lady who does intake questions for new patients. In a hallway, mind you, with a curtain around you asking EXTREMELY personal questions. I was so uncomfortable and she kept shaking her head at my answers and seemed very judgemental.. not professional at all. The Dr I saw seemed nice enough but seemed very rushed. I think I had high hopes for this place being that my last dr was a male and gyno wasnt his thing but Id honestly rather go back to him. He didnt make me feel so uncomfortable.

I love this clinic and the doctors who work there. My 3 babies were delivered by Dr. Suarez and Dr. Larrazaleta. I have been a patient for 13 years and the service has always been fantastic.

Weve been going to her Health for 3 babies now. We absolutely LOVE our OBGYN Dr. Gutierrez and many of my girlfriends have been referred to and go to her too for their pregnancies and care.

Avoid this company. Hard to reach and they make it seem like they are going out of business, never answering phones. The good reviews seem suspicious. I’m so disappointed. I’ve been trying to get my results read for months.

Had an appointment at 3:30pm, still waiting at 5:00pm to be seen for first appointment. Been here almost 2 hours now. They’ll definitely be losing patients like this.

I experienced my second pregnancy at Her Health and I always felt taken care of by Dr. G. She is so sweet and has amazing bedside manner. She always listened to my thoughts, worries and questions. I was a high risk pregnancy and had my baby early. Both Dr. G and Dr. L were there for my C section. My recovery went so fast this time around. I am very happy with my care and will return for my next baby.

I am an MD and I brought my wife to register as a new patient. The ladies at the front desk turned us away and told us that our United Health PPO Plan was “out of network.” I went home and found our online provider list which confirmed that Her Health is IN-network AND that they are accepting new patients. When I called the front desk, they told me that they are IN-network but are not accepting certain plans at the moment. We were really excited about establishing ourselves at Her Health, but we’re not going to beg. There are plenty of OB’s in this town. I wonder if the office manager knows these two ladies are routinely turning paying customers away???

Horrible customer service. The ladies at the front desk don’t help you I have had a couple appointments already and they just give you attitude. Whenever you call they just want to get you off the line and don’t give you the proper customer service that you deserve. The nurses that attend you on the other hand at the west side location are great they make you feel welcomed and Dr Gutierrez is amazing super friendly and always makes you feel comfortable if I could I would rate them 5 stars. Definitely don’t recommend going to this clinic in the long run.

I have been a patient at Her Health for the past 9 years. I had all my children under their care. Their medical care is excellent. I highly recommend them!

About a year ago when I typed out this review, this office location did not have this google page with an address yet, and no address on their website. I saved this in a note for a year for the chance that I’d be able to review it in the future. Now is my chance.Nice office but strange experience in an already stressful situation... I made an appt for the next day at 1pm at the west office and asked for an address. The woman said they don’t have an address yet since it was a new building, but her directions would be fine. They were not. I called at 12:45 the day of for help, but an emergency line operator answered since the office doesn’t turn their phone lines on until 1:30. Why? She said she does not have directions, but she can give me the address. This took me to an Electric company. Called again and she insisted she was right and “no one else had problems finding it”. She ended up hanging up on me! I googled the place and found the correct address hidden in the depths of google search results. Should have done this before but I had put my trust in these women. Both women were wrong. I was now 20 min late.The woman at the front desk was very kind and understanding. Once called back, I was sat down in a public area by the hallway and asked questions, some very personal and embarrassing and should have been asked in a private room. She wrote notes on a post it. I was then given a plastic cup to urinate in (the kind of cups you drink from- not “medical”, no lids.) She instructed me to set it on the counter outside the restroom when finished. Yes there are pee cups uncovered out in the open for all patients to walk past. There was no square opening in the wall of the restroom like most offices so I had to walk past another patient with an open cup of pee in my hand. I realize I wasn’t given any instruction on where to go or what to do after setting down my cup. No staff in sight. Finally a lady asked me if I needed help and then directed me to sit in the lobby again. I sat out there for at least an hour.Once called to the back, I met with the Dr. She seemed rushed and I didn’t get to ask all of the questions that I had in mind. Overall I did like her and her personality made me feel comfortable. She mentioned they would call me when my results were in. Fast forward 1 month and they still had not called. I called them and they told me my results. So I guess they forgot to call... I won’t be back at this office. I may try the east side location in the future and see if there’s a difference.

They are too dam lazy to answer there phone call’s, especially if it’s a patient they don’t like. I have seen and witnessed and over heard a medical assistant say and do it. Terrible medical assistant and receptionist. They are unprofessional and they also talk about patients behind there back.

Awesome experience here! I had tubal ligation and it was quick, painless, plus my doctor was AMAZING with the follow up care. Thank you! The office is super clean and all of the staff was professional and prompt. Dr. Larrazaleta really listened to my concerns and what I needed from my OB. I will continue to be seen here no matter where I live in El Paso!

Dr. Suarez is amazing! Her staff on the other hand... they never answer the phones and when they do I either get attitude or hung up on. The medical assistant that takes vitals is always rude! I tried to stick it out because Dr. Suarez is so nice, buts it’s not worth the hassle and energy to deal with her staff.

I had my twin pregnancy here with Dr. Khamsi & Dr. Larrazaleta, had a c section with Dr. Larrazaleta & it went great! Highly recommend! Also Dr. Khamsi always answered my questions!

Dr is great! Nurses have there moods here and there but can be super nice. However front desk lady is extremely rude but not with everyone, it’s happened several times when I walk in and there’s no greet whatsoever but the person after me we’ll get greeted and asked how her day is going, while I’m still standing there signing in, really makes one feel some type away.

I had such a great experience here at this location. They took care of my needs and were super helpful with any questions i had. Ladies at the front desk are super friendly and patient.

Good Lord, I should’ve read these reviews prior to showing up for my appointment on the west side. Long wait times, only to be questioned by the Gestapo at the front desk for proof of vaccination and a mask. Why was this not mentioned when I called to book an appointment? I’ll go elsewhere, to a clinic in a post-COVID lockdown universe and where the staff is not bound to draconian regulations!

Worst clinic ever. It doesnt matter how far long you are in your pregnancy no OBGYN here will take new patients until March!!

I’ve Been trying to talk to front desk to become a patient and they won’t answer my call. I’ve called about a dozen times already. My boyfriend called and they answered and after calling again his cell gets rejected.

I had a nice experience at this place, they made me feel really comfortable during my appt, the front office staff were very nice as well as the ladies in the back!

The woman at the front desk were always so kind!Dr. Larazaletta ...were to begin.. she was such a great dr!I felt as if I had known her for years!There were a few times I went in and was seen by the other female docters, and they were just as sweet, up to date and knowledgeable on my pregnancy.Dr. Larazaletta delivered my 3rd son, if I knew her before, I would have loved for her to deliver all 3.

ZERO stars!!!! My wife had an appt but upon arrival was to be part of an appt, I had to be vaccinated and have my card. My wife doesnt...but I do. Makes no sense. Receptionist also had a bad attitude. We are taking our business elsewhere. They did not inform us of that requirement when making an appt a month ago by the way. Drove 40 min across town only to be disappointed. Already booked elsewhere.

Don’t go here they have the worst customer service ever I been pending result for my fertility for going on 3 months now! I call and they hang up on me! I came here expecting help for starting a family and I haven’t gotten any calls back when they say they will call me back. I’m super upset at this point! Worst place ever then charge me 150 just for the doctor to say hello ?! They don’t care about their patients!

Friendly and attentive staff and especially doctors!!! I would not go any other place! I live in the eastside, but I travel far, far west fir this office!!! Totally recommend!!

They never pick up El Paso needs better providers

I have tried to be patient. I have ignored attitude (I get it, some times its a bad day.) However its nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone, any time I have to call I make sure I have at least 10 minutes to keep calling and hope someone answers. Anything that is faxed into the office never makes it to the front desk. If the office has to fax something back, expect it to be late. I really like Dr Gutierrez but its too much of a hassle to even make an appointment.

Crazy that this place has bad reviews , I only went here because my doctor , Dr. Khasmi had switched offices and I follow her wherever she goes but the front desk was nice , I didn’t even wait long like 10 minutes maybe and I got there 5 minutes before my appointment, everyone I met seems really nice , I would recommend this office

Office is terrible at answering phone. No matter the time or day, they don’t answer. There is no voicemail to leave a call back message. The one time a staff person answered she said they would call back but I’m still waiting after 6 days. Although I like Dr. Khamsi I am considering changing doctors.

I’d give 0 stars if it’d let me. This office literally never answers the phone. If you’re looking for a responsive obgyn, this place is not it. Take your business and women’s health elsewhere!

Horrible service. Ive been waiting on my birth control for more than a month and a half, I call and can never reach anyone and they dont even have an option to leave a voicemail. How is this a health care center and NO ONE ANSWERS EVER??

Called for first time I was recommended to Dr. Gonzalez I was going to be a new client however the lady that picked up the phone was extremely rude , she practically handup on me when I was talking, didnt even let me talk. Just for this Im not scheduling I really hope higher-ups see these comments because you just lost a new client due to the rude staff, and im pretty sure im not the first.

Had the most uneventful, painless endometrial biopsy. I thoroughly commend Erica for her skills. The entire staff always makes you feel comfortable.

My first visit went really well, but after that to call and schedule is a nightmare! No matter how many times I call and the day I call I can never get through.

Great doctor, but extremely long wait times, nobody ever calls you back (especially when you feel like you might be having an emergency) as well front desk staff is rude :(

The Drs there are amazing , love the service , love the staff . I don’t have to be waiting hours I go in and out quick . And they are on top of it love my doctor Dr. Gutierrez is the best

I don’t have any problems at their East location, everything there runs smoothly; but here, You always have to be prepared to wait for an hour so they can start weighting and measuring you, and more wait to see the doctor.

Dr. Gutierrez has wonderful bedside manners and takes her time explaining and addressing your questions & concerns.

Dr. Laura Gutierrez was the Doctor who treated me. He was very kind and gentle. I recommend it 100%. She explains everything in detail and is very patient. She will undoubtedly be my gynecologist until she retires. If you are looking for a good service you have to make your appointment with Doctor Laura Gutierrez.
