I can’t begin to explain what an amazing experience we had at shady grove. Our doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioners we incredible. So knowledgeable, but just as importantly, so compassionate and empathetic. I would highly recommend this practice.

Going through infertility is NOT a club anyone joins willingly, but if you have to seek some extra support, there is no one I would ever recommend more than Dr. Ochalski. She is by far the BEST, most caring doctor & the way she really lives this experience with you is like none other. After 5 years of struggling and this intense IVF process, Dr. O was there for us every step of the way; the good, the bad, and then the rainbow that became our daughter at the end of a very long storm. She was there when we first heard the heartbeat of our miracle, and we got to bring her to meet the Doctor that helped her existence become possible. We are FOREVER grateful for SGF and especially, Dr. Melanie Ochalski.

Could not speak more highly of our experience with SGF in Lancaster. From the start of the fertility journey they welcomed us with open arms and made what could’ve been such a long-dreadful journey a truly rewarding experience thanks to all of their knowledge, care, support, and thoroughness.

Shady Grove Lancaster office is filled with the most wonderful and kind nurses, staff, and doctors alike. Everyone treats you with kindness and understanding and makes you feel completely comfortable. Elyse is truly incredible and so easy to talk to in what can be a difficult situation. Cannot say enough great things about this office and staff!

Great team, always made my husband and I feel welcome and cared about. Staff and the weekend nurse line are always quick to respond. We never felt we were rushed, we were always listened to and always given high quality professional care. Everyone from the front desk to nurses and doctors understands how difficult the process can be, and go above and beyond to create a positive environment for patients. We cant recommend them enough.

My husband and I here told the only way to have kids was ..with IVF, nothing else will help us. We sought out the help and second opinion of Shady Grove Fertility(at the time still located in Reading.) Dr. Kara Nguyen has been compassionate, empathetic and took our wants/needs into consideration with each step we took forward. Our journey hasnt been an easy one, we have had 7 miscarriages(5 consecutive, a live birth, 2 more consecutive miscarriages.) With the wonderful help and dedication of Dr. Kara Nguyen and our amazing team, we have 1 rainbow baby(who is now 2 years old) and one due any time now. Without the encouragement of our Shady Grove team and help they have provided we may never have made it this far! I cannot recommend their facility, staff and doctors enough at Shady Grove Fertility in Lancaster. Everyone who steps foot into their doors has a story, they do their best here to help you obtain your dreams, even when other doctors tell you it will never happen. They provided us with options, hope and another path to look at in our Fertility journey. This was the best choice my husband and I made in our journey, and we wouldnt change that for the world. My journey with infertility has not been an easy road, but my experience with Shady Grove has been wonderful. I have had the benefit of working with the Chesterbrook and Lancaster offices and have found each office to be just as responsive to my needs. I was a special case who didnt follow the rules and Dr. Nguyen was very willing to work with me through every hurdle we faced. Because of her attentiveness to detail and willingness to work with me, my husband and I are expecting a baby girl this December! I am 44 years old and used 41 year old eggs that I stored after my divorce. The odds were low but I never felt discouraged. I have recommended Shady Grove to several of my friends already!

As a new patient I will like to recommend Dr Marchetto for her patience, involvement, understanding and professionalism. She was straightforward about my case, and even if I didn’t have positive answers, she tried to do everything to help me find a good solution in my situation and provide me with recommendations and opportunities that I might have. For the first time when both, my husband and I met Dr. Marchetto, she seemed to be onest about our case. She never tried to sell us a product, instead she caressed about my health. Dr. Nguyen was so compassionate and understanding to our desire to become parents. She carefully listened to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions. She laid out all of our options and helped us determine our infertility treatment options. With her help, we were able to go through our first round of IVF and conceived! We are the parents of a beautiful little girl. She helped make our dreams come true! We are hoping to return soon to try to add another baby to our family. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and all of the staff at Shady Grove! We are forever thankful.

My husband and I went in blindly and Dr. Nguyen made us feel super comfortable. From her nursing staff to herself, we really were able to have all of our questions answered From our first visit two emails two phone calls to our end. Dr. Nguyen stuck by us through our rough journey, and it was as if she was a part of our family and she was invested 100% emotionally in our adventure as well. That made us feel so connected and confident in her & Shady Grove.

I absolutely love Dr. Kara!!! She made our dreams of having a baby come true. She set clear expectations and provided answers to all of our questions. I’ve recommended Shady Grove Fertility to numerous people struggling with getting or staying pregnant. Our experience was wonderful. Easy, efficient, straightforward. They fully explain everything, form a comprehensive plan, and make sure you have a handle on next steps. Going in more often for scans was such a good feeling compared to your OBGYN where you go maybe twice your entire pregnancy for ultrasounds and images. It put my mind at ease seeing the baby on the ultrasound each week or every 2 weeks until we got released to my OB office. We now have a 6 month old healthy baby boy! Very thankful for SGF Doctors, nurses and staff! Highly recommend!

My experience at Shady Grove has been wonderful. The staff always was supportive and kind. Dr. Nguyen never gave up on my case and helped me achieve a successful pregnancy with my now 18 month old. I’m forever thankful!

Shady Grove was the first place we were recommended to for our infertility journey and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Ever since day 1 we have felt very comfortable and Dr. Nguyen was always there to answer any and all questions! The team is very nice and they become a close little family and support system! I can’t thank them enough for our little miracle that I’m currently carrying!

Dr.Connell was approachable and explained the entire process thoroughly. He also made it a point to call and check on me before/after the procedures. The nurses were all fantastic, especially Abbey! I received nothing but kindness and compassion from what was an extremely stressful time in my life…the staff made me feel like I wasn’t alone in this struggle.

Dr. Nyguen and the team are absolutely amazing. They walked us through our journey to becoming parents, flawlessly. Kara reassured us constantly that our turn would come! She was right! After three rounds of IUI, we were pregnant with our miracle baby! Here we are, exactly a year later with the most perfect three month old baby girl! I definitely recommend starting your journey with Shady Grove also!

Our experience with SGF started the end of July after being unsuccessful for 12 months. Dr. Ochalski went over all our medical history, and asked us to do some testing. After determining rather quickly that everything was normal, we decided to start with IUI. After 1st IUI we were successful! Shady grove made this entire process so easy. With the staff who greeted you when you walked in the door, the girls taking my blood, Sarah- our nurse support coordinator who was there to answer any questions I had, and Jess- the nurse practitioner who did all my ultrasounds (loved her!) My experience with SGF was certainly a positive one, but we did get a positive outcome very quickly. Thanks SGF for making my dreams come true of being a mama!

There could have better communication from the team as far as follow up and responding to calls, emails, and portal messages. Throughout our journey we had to educate ourselves and manage our own medications when the team lost sight of us. They make over 200 Million a year in revenu so you may need to hold them accountable to follow though and communication. Our Doctor was very nice and presented as honest and genuinely compassionate. With lots of bumps along the way, we did reach our goal with a baby due in 4 months and are appreciative of the service that we paid for.

Dr. Kara Nguyen and the Lancaster office are phenomenal. They are compassionate, empathetic, and patient. We had multiple losses during our IVF journey. Every step of the way Dr. Nguyen checked in with me and reassured me that we were going to keep fighting to build our family. In January 2020, we welcomed our son. I am eternally grateful for Dr. Nguyen and the staff at both Lancaster and Chesterbrook offices. They helped bring our dream to life.

Seeking help with fertility issues is a painful and frustrating process, but having caring and knowledgeable people to come alongside you and give you hope is so important. Our experience with Shady Grove was great, and Dr Nguyen and her staff were so helpful and made the process straightforward, and thankfully helped me get pregnant with our incredible baby girl! We would use them again in the future if needed.

Nothing but great things about Shady Grove, we used several different offices and each one the staff was amazing! We are currently pregnant with baby #2 all because of Shady Grove and Dr. Nguyen! We are forever grateful.

We had started out at a different fertility group which was unsuccessful. So we heard about Shady Grove fertility and we decided to try them. To our surprise we learned so much more about what was really going on with us. It was like somebody took a blindfold off of our eyes. we had so much information which was amazing and we learned so much about ourselves. which we did not get from the previous doctors at the other fertility group. We had done IVF two times with no success with Shady Grove but they did not give up on us. we said that we would try for a third time knowing that we only had a 10% chance. But like they say the third time is a charm to our surprise Dr. Nguyen called us to tell us the good news that the third time was successful only at a 10% chance. today that little miracle is running around my house playing and having fun. My husband and I are so grateful for this miracle named James. We could never have done it without Shady Grove fertility. I will say thank you to them Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Martin but I feel that thank you is not good enough for what they have done for my little family we truly are blessed. I definitely recommend Shady Grove fertility!

I cant believe it. I just called right now to set up an appointment as a new patient the lady hang up the phone in my face because she kept asking how did I hear about them, and I kept telling her by and old patient of theirs. She was busy doing other stuff. I guess listening to was not her priority. Oh wow! That is not how you welcome someone to your business. I have read a lot about how rude the front desk people aren but I didnt think the people over the phone that supposed to welcome new patient was careless too. Why SGF dont investigate these employees of their?

I absolutely loved the doctors and staff at Shady Grove. During a time when things could seem bleak and sad, the staff made us feel welcome and were so, so supportive. They answered questions promptly, and when we became pregnant I was sad to not go back. They had become so close to my heart because I know they are truly hoping for positive outcomes for everyone who comes in their doors. Thank you ladies!

I found out I couldnt have any kids about 4 years ago. My husband and I were searching for fertility clinics. We found Shady Grove. We had made an appointment to talk to Dr. Nguyen to discuss the cost and the process of I.V.F. We decided we were going to try and see what happens. We did all of the shots and the medications and finally it was time to retrieve our eggs. We had to drive back to Philly to do our final process. After multiple appointments for blood work we finally got that call we were praying for saying we were pregnant. The staff and Dr. Nguyen was amazing. I would recommend them to everybody.

I’m writing this review over a year later from our initial appointment with Dr. Nguyen. My husband and I suffered from recurrent pregnancy loss with repeated miscarriages. Dr. Nguyen helped us run every test in the books to find an answer. For better or worse, every loss was a random chromosomal issue and therefore just bad luck. Dr. Nguyen and Ochalski were so compassionate. They understood our situation and our goals and helped us get pregnant once again. These providers will help you feel some sense of control and hope when trying to get pregnant AND stay pregnant! I would recommend this office to anyone struggling with infertility and wanting a family!

Stay away, Do not go here if your bmi is 40 or more they will not treat you, but they will only tell you that after they have strung you along for $2500.00 in tests, labs and doctor visits. My wifes experience drastically changed when they refused to treat her, weight was never a topic of concern until the day of treatment then magically it was a big issue. We went from a diagolge of we would like but not required in the beginning to you must before we will treat you. They also didnt tell her till after they weighed and did all these other test to inform her there would be no treatment then charged us for the visit. Completely unprofessional and seems they definitely play on ppls emotions and exclude people from treat to keep their successful treatment numbers in the positive by denying outliers from possibly mudding their success rates.

Our experience at Shady Grove was amazing. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. They were quick to respond to our questions and guided us through the process so that we always felt well cared for. We really felt like they were rooting for us!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Nguyen, the nurses and the staff at Shady Grove. They really made the process very easy and supported me every step of the way by answering my questions, giving me guidance and making me feel that I was cared for. I cannot thank them enough for helping me conceive two beautiful children.

Dr.Ochalski is a wonderful, caring provider. Takes the extra time to answer questions and is truly invested in helping her patients. The three stars in for the awful nursing staff. The nurses are very rude, not caught up on patient treatment plans when calling patients and show no respect or sensitivity to patient needs. Very frustrating practice to work with when your doctor is amazing but the nursing staff that you are forced to have interaction with is horrible.

Absolutely horrible place! Wasted 2 years of our life with them and they did Absolutely nothing! Wouldnt answer phone calls, judged us while we were there, gave us dirty looks. Completely left us hanging. Told us we were ready too move on too the next step and never contacted us again and then never answered our phone calls again. Still have yet to find out who too report these people too. My wife is completely shattered mentally now thinking she is never going to be able to have kids now because of these people. Here we are 2 years after that incident and still recover mentally from what these people put us through. I hope these people get shut down permanently. They are a bunch of pathetic human beings who didnt even have the spine to reach out too her after she left her review on here. Then about a month later a bunch of 5 star reviews popped up and each with a answer from the owner. Yea I dont think that timing was by mistake if you know what I mean.

Shady Grove Fertility of Lancaster was amazing! We worked with them for 4 years and they were so helpful and caring the entire time! The nurses and doctor there are wonderful! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!

I would highly recommend SGF. Dr. Nguyen is disarming, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She approached us with compassion and understanding. She walked us through extensive testing and evaluation and worked with us to explore treatment options. Today I am 28 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy. I cant thank SGF enough for their role in getting us to this point! I wouldnt hesitate to go back to SGF for future fertility issues and/or needs. I cant say enough good things about them.

Do not bother going here if your BMI is >44. IVF is even stricter with a BMI requirement of 40 or less. They will not perform any treatments, including administering medication and timed cycling unless you meet their standards. Fatphobic is the only word I can use to describe this place. Not to mention that yes while from day 1 I was aware of the BMI requirement for IUI and IVF, timed cycling and taking a clomid equivalent medication was never discussed as being off the table due to BMI. They told me they’d be with me till we hear the first heartbeat. I’m sure they tell everyone that but I believed them. They play on your emotions and vulnerability in this extraordinarily tough time for anyone in this position.

Two years ago, we decided to start a journey to become ‘parents’. A year and a half later, on August 20th, 2018, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and was referred to a Shady Grove Fertility Clinic, as it was uncertain if I was going to be able to get pregnant.After so many months of intense pain due to the endometriosis, I only wanted to know two things: 1) do I have a chance to get pregnant? And 2) Am I going to feel that intense pain while pregnant?Dr. Nguyan was very kind and sweet. She looked over my doctor reports and told us not only that we had a chance to get pregnant, but that I was not going to feel my endometriosis pain during it.We decided to try IVF....The SGF team was very supportive and caring... Today, our little one is growing healthy...I have no endometriosis pain and can’t wait to meet him/her exactly a year after my diagnose...on August 20, 2019

I am giving 5 stars based on the professionalism and patience of the person scheduling my appointment. Shes awesome and I hope my experience will be just as wonderful.

My wife went here and was directed to go out of state to their facility in Maryland for testing. We drove 6 hours round trip only to be told they couldnt do the test there. That was it. We asked to try medication because they arent doing anything now for us and they turned us down and arent listening to anything we are saying. This was a complete waste of time and Dr Nyguen needs to help her patients.

The warmth and understanding I received from the team at the office was unlike any other. If youre even considering working with them, look no further! Thank you all for being such a great support.

Need to be vaccinated just to have an in person comsult. The even funnier part is if you move forward with treatment, you don’t need to be vaccinated. I guess they think you can only get COVID during the initial consultation.

THEY GOT ME FOR MY MONEY!!! BECAUSE IM 44 AND DESPERATE. IN AUG MY BILL WAS UNDER $400. TOOK A BREAK BECAUSE I WAS EMOTIONALLY DRAINED WITH APPTS BLOOD WORK ALL THESE EXPENSIVE MEDS & ULTRASOUNDS & IN SEPT I SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPT TO START A NEW CYCLE AND AFTER MY APPT I WAS TOLD IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CLINIC AND OTHER PATIENTS THAT MY BILL WAS OVER $2000 AND THEY WERE NOT GOING TO GIVE ME MY RESULTS OR CONTINUE TO SEE ME UNTIL THE BALANCE WAS PAID (SO WHY EVEN SCHEDULE ME FOR A NEW APPT???). MIND YOU IN AUG I BOUGHT $2000 WORTH OF MEDICATIONS!!! THE EMBARRASSMENT AND ADDED STRESS I WENT THROUGH THAT DAY... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! THEREFORE I HAVE $2000 WORTH OF MEDS IN MY FRIDGE AND PAYING THEM $2000 IN INSTALLMENTS AS OF OCT 1 BUT I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THEM EVER... BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE ON THEIR JOURNEY AS MINE WAS CRUSHED AND MY JOURNEY HAS COME TO AN END.
