I went to Northwell GoHealth Urgent care on Sunday around 6pm. They were the only urgent care open at that time on a Sunday. I needed an X-ray for a fractured foot. At first I was told that they were done with x-rays for the day but graciously helped me out and did my X-rays anyway. Dr Li was very kind. It was a quick process and as painless as having a fractured foot can be. They also named their plants I saw Larry and Curly. I can only assume Mo is hanging around there somewhere.

From the beginning, the major positive was that their hours were flexible and well into the evening/midnight. It’s always a shame when you just have to fill things out online or on a touchpad. The main woman running the show at the front desk was kind and helpful And the additional women that were the doctors and helpers were personable and so understanding. Great place for urgent care concerns. I love that there were no TVs bombarding the experience and that fun and lively music was playing

Terrible. 9 year old needed an x-ray of his hand. Huge sign in the window that walk-ins are welcome. After spending 15 minutes preparing paperwork, the incompetent receptionist announces to the waiting room that any walk-ins have a minimum 1 1/2 hour wait. Is it ignorance or apathy to announce this after patients have already been checked in for 15 minutes? Good news though. After a 10 minute conversation without addressing a single patient, it seems like the entire staff had s nice weekend and everyone is all set with their lunch plans!

Walked in and was in an exam room approximately 3 minutes later. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and caring. Facilities were super clean. Not a negative thing to say about the whole experience! Next time I’m sick, I’ll be back!

Great urgent care to go to. If u do it online for an appointment, there is little to now Wait time, and I keep going back because the staff is always friendly, and the doctors always explain whats wrong, even if they send u somewhere to have an x-ray done and u have to go back to get a cast on your arm like I did last year.

The lady behind the desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me look up pharmacies and it showed she cared. I definitely will go back again to this location. I was in and out in less than an hour. The waiting room was huge and the doctor was quick and fast evaluating me.

The place is well clean and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Although the wait time can be long but not too long maybe like 5-10 minutes and their bathroom sink sure makes a splash everywhere. The practitioners and nurses are so great and helpful to help me cure my illnesses.

I had a great experience. I was seen at the exact time I reserved. Everyone was professional, and I received proper treatment for my medical issue.Note to GoHealth: find a different tech company to run your patient portal. I cant log in on their app. You have contacted them twice at my request, and supposedly they are going to contact me directly. The GoHealth team member I spoke too knew exactly what my problem was because it seems to happen a lot for the Bay Shore, NY center.

Staff was friendly and welcoming but they were understaffed and the wait time was crazy. They did everything they could to help all the patients there. Poor staff was on the phone trying to find help to come and they couldn’t get anyone to come in from what I heard. They deserve better ! Always love coming here. Hope the understaffing isn’t an issue anymore.

Our family lives very close to the Northwell Urgent Care on Montauk Highway in Bay Shore. I tend to go at least once a year for a medical issue and have always been happy.Todays visit was awesome and led me to write a review.My husband is a Type 1 Diabetic and also on Xarelto, the blood thinner. Friday night he suffered a nasty cut which bleed heavily. We treated it Saturday and Sunday with care but by Monday I was concerned and made an appointment.Dr. Pattel was the physician on duty and he was unbelievable. Rarely have a had such a complete explanation of what had happened and all the details of wound care.You are very lucky to have him on your staff. Thanks.

During my visit this past Monday, I was registered quick, the staff was friendly and professional. The nurse was well trained. The PA was very cordial. She diagnosed, treated and prescribed medication for my ailments in a timely mannerShe sent my scripts to CVS as well. I picked them up a few hours later. Overall, you cant get better more efficient care anywhere then that. Forgot to mention, I called my doctors office Monday morning, they said I couldnt be seen till the end of week. I needed 3 differing types of medications to start my healing process! Im so glad urgent care didnt turn me away!

My partner, a senior citizen, went yesterday to get a Covid test because he’s been very sick for a few days. He was treated just terribly by the receptionist, who sent him away because he didn’t have proper identification. We understand that was his error but he could barely walk, was short of breath, and she didn’t even ask him if she could call anyone for him. She rudely sent him away. He came home in tears. I drove him to your west Islip facility where he was seen immediately , tested positive for Covid and given a prescription for paxlovid all in less than 20 minutes. The woman at the desk there was efficient, sympathetic and professional, and we are grateful for her help. The woman in Bay Shore was completely the opposite.

Waiting an hour… after scheduling an appointment. I needed to get to another appointment so I got snarky “thank yous” on the way out. Why is it ok to have people wait an hour and then expect them to be happy about it. Don’t seem very interested in the patient.

I made an appointment with Northwell urgent care in Bayshore the receptionist was so rude and told me to check in on a broken tablet.she was very put off when I told her it didnt work. I was in the waiting room for almost 2 hours and then in a room waiting for a dr for an hour. A total of 3 hours. Next time its City Md for me

I am extremely disappointed with my visit here. I have gone here twice for sinus infections which I’ve unfortunately have had many in my life. I talked to the PA (Courtney Bofinger) about wanting an antibiotic. She prescribes me over the counter Flonase (which she said was going to be some steroid nose spray) and xyzal which I’m already on Claritin so how does that help. They don’t listen to you at all at the urgent care. I only went to this one because I didn’t realize how late it was and the one I usually go to was on the verge of closing. The PAs need to do better here, we know our bodies and what works for us. I understand you’ve done to medical school but we know what we need sometimes better than you. Where does it end that you stop actually listening to patients. Now I will have to go to another urgent care and pay another copay which I wouldn’t have to do if you just listened in the first place.

Just rude, from the moment you walk in and speak with the receptionist down to being denied antibiotics by the provider when you’re contagious and let them know you already got someone sick and you have a child to care for and work to go to and cannot risk getting any one else sick while letting them know your symptoms are getting worse. They recommend you to come back so they can just bill your insurance and bring everyone in your household that got sick along with you so they can make more money. The receptionist is also rude for no reason at all and will argue with you in front of the waiting room very unprofessionally while she refuses to do her job because she “doesnt know who you think you’re talking to” when she’s the one who’s very rude to begin with. It seemed like she wanted to fight more than she wanted to do her job. The way she spoke to me from when I walked in the door to the way she was looking at me with animated eyebrows under her mask like I’m irritating her and I did nothing but say I checked in online and than when she called me to ask for my insurance card she didn’t like how I handed my insurance card to her saying I “threw” it. She was looking for a problem it seems like just to get into a verbal dispute in front of her co-workers and in front of a waiting room full of people because she’s most likely unhappy with her life and actually doesn’t care about peoples health or people at all and just needs a check. I’m sure they know she’s a problem though lol. I also let them know I had chest pain near my heart which I was expecting to get an ekg for since the medical assistant had mentioned it and since that’s definitely something they should’ve given once I let them know about the chest pain. But it seems like you just get rushed at these urgent care places. They probably get paid the quicker they rush their patients out so they can get more patients in and more money for them.

It was an easy reservation system with a quick check in process and sat for a minute and then taken to room where I was seen very quickly by a medical professional who was very polite, quick to diagnose my symptoms and prescribe medication in about 10 minutes and was in my way. Its a great service to be used and very happy especially was a weekend day and did not have to take time off from work.

My experience here was absolutely excruciating. I waited for about three hours in total after a shift at work. My entire day was basically ended and I waited so long that my phone died and I had to sit in the waiting room watching everyone else get treated. Im not sure what took so long but a three hour wait is absolutely ridiculous. I should have just waited until my illness killed me so I didnt have to wait in that bright room with terrible music and babies crying. For the love of God do not visit this urgent care I am begging all of you. The care is not urgent It seems they read their sweet time.

I took my mother to the urgent care for a busted lip after a fall. She was treated very well and examined carefully. Everything was exclaimed as the person examining her checked her. Although they couldn’t do what needed to be done, they said to take her to emergency. They gave us paperwork explaining what needed to be done. I highly recommend them.

I was able to make an appointment ( hold my place) online. I completed my paperwork before I got there. The receptionist was pleasant and I did not have to wait long. I felt that the PA was helpful and knowledgeable. I was in so much pain all day I thought my injury was worse than it was.

I went because I had a terrible allergy. They sent my prescription to a pharmacy that was closed when I had already asked them for a pharmacy that was open. I had to return from the pharmacy because they never answered my call. Very bad service.

My only complaint is the wait for walk ins next time I’ll make an appointment but I really just needed to be seen. The PA was great , I knew exactly what I needed (im an ER nurse) so she agreed and sent everything over for me. I am so grateful for efficient providers. In and out. She was super apologetic about the wait which was nice. When you feel awful a 1.5 hour wait feels like forever but I was able to get what I needed so that’s all that matters!

I had the unfortunate pleasure of encountering oh-nah-nah scribe today. I could hear her in the other room making fun of the other patients. Quite possibly the most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had coming to a clinic. I will most definitely not be returning. Would highly suggest to get rid of this woman. Her comments were so unprofessional, and disrespectful. I honestly couldn’t believe I was in a place that’s deemed as a medical office.

As a medical professional myself, I understand the intricacies and stress placed on the medical staff. However, to run a successful business, you can’t have customers waiting 40 to 50 even an hour and more sometimes for their medical services . It used to be much better staffed. Just go to the ER- dont waste your time or money here.I came in immediately after I broke my big toe. Provider didnt look at it. Gave me a script to get an xray for the next day -Sunday. (No one does xrays on Sunday, so I went back.) They said xray showed no fracture. Just walk on it.2 weeks later, my PCP took xrays that showed nondisplaced fracture. I had been walking on a broken big toe.2 months later, at the podiatrist, I may have to have surgery because toe fracture grew apart, has a space in it and arthritis.All due to negligence at this provider.

I walked in yesterday morning with symptoms of strep and although I had encountered a problem with an employee that goes by the name of Rachel I still decided to give this urgent care a beautiful review but…..She worked as the receptionist. I handed her my phone and on a note it read that I had lost my voice and I needed to be seen and given a strep test. She then started googling translating in Spanish. I was forced to speak up and said I speak English. She still proceeded to speak to me in Spanish to spite me because I didn’t want to strain my voice. I mean hand signals and all. Not to mention, she was so nasty to several people in the waiting room. I have to say everyone else I dealt with that day was amazingly beautiful. So helpful and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this urgent care because it was quick and took great care of my needs, but Rachel put a damper on the experience, but again she doesn’t get to ruin it for everyone else and They’re efforts. Went in with a trauma injury due to skiing accident. Provider (PA) never introduced himself, nor asked me why I had come, nor did he even look at the injury (until I pulled up my clothing and made him), and certainly gave me no physical examination. Was fixated on the fact that I may have a UTI (unrelated to my visit) and grudgingly gave me an xray. He should be prohibited from practicing medicine.

My mom went because she couldn’t breathe well . Was diagnosed with bronchitis . She was given a script for a drug and an inhaler. Didn’t work . She went back a second time accompanied by myself and my 3 year old toddler who is also sick . They told her she didn’t need a nebulizer and told her to take mucinex. Told me that all my son had was a post nasal drip , didn’t test him for anything. Now I’m in the emergency room with my mother who is ordered to stay over night because of negligence and proper care. Can’t talk , can’t even walk to the bathroom . Wheezing extremely loud and crying bc she can’t breathe .

Staff is kind, courteous, and professional. The receptionist called me when it was my turn to come in. The doctors are knowledgeable and really take the time to listen to my concerns. They answer any questions that I have and I am accurately diagnosed and treated every single time I go to this particular office. I am so grateful for such kind and competent healthcare providers and my mind is so much more at ease after every appointment. This location is ALWAYS very clean, well staffed and organized; every exam room is sanitized between every person EVERY TIME. I took my mother to the Lindenhurst location for X-rays and no technician was available…. they evaluated her and we were told to go to the bayshore one that they have a tech drove to bayshore right away got there and we were told no tech available again!! worst experience ever…. ended up in ER. i guess dont ever go to urgent care on Sundays.

After yesterdays experience, I will no longer be giving this facility any more chances. I made sure prior to showing up that they were not closed. Being that I live in the area, I showed up at least 45 minutes before they closed at 5pm. I understand that it was New Years Day, however, I was not feeling well and needed only 5 minutes of a doctors time. Upon showing up, I physically check myself in on the iPad since there was no receptionist around to be seen or guide me on protocols. After I check in, I am prompted to finish filling out my information through my phone, which I immediately started working on. There was only one other person in the lobby with me. After over 5 minutes pass, still no receptionist around, I hear my name called and a man comes and approaches me in the lobby. At this point, I am well into filling out my information, but now as this man approaches, he begins to tell me that I cannot be seen. Now, I am confused and frankly, a little upset. He only explains that they are closing at 5pm and there are people waiting, so I cannot be seen. I would have appreciated this a lot more if I was told right away and spared some of my own time to find elsewhere to go, had there been a receptionist up front to explain. At this point, the receptionist conveniently makes her way behind the front desk and appears to be finding me being told to leave funny. I am completely appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed in this facility. I work in the field and completely understand the importance of appointments. However, maybe this place needs to be branded as something other than a walk-in clinic if they are going to constantly turn ill patients away. I was completely embarrassed by my experience and found the behavior of the employees very unprofessional. I have been turned away in the past, a little over a year ago, but the difference between then and now, is that there was a receptionist to explain to me right away that I couldnt be seen, rather than wasting my time. If this is how Northwell Health treats patients, then I will be taking my business elsewhere henceforth.

Seamless experience .Loved the ability to fill out forms online - excellent providers that I felt very confident in (I’m an RN) - quick turnaround time.And - I really appreciated being able to get immediate care on Fire Island to find out if I should head home. They arranged imaging in BayShore so I could catch a quick ferry to the mainland and return to FI within an hour, so the disruption to vacation was minimized. Thanks!

Staff was amazing since the moment I walked in they were all very nice specially Cristine the PA she was extremely kind and very supportive when she gave me the test results. She said she was going to put in the prescription for a treatment to get at the hospital and a few minutes later I got the phone call to set up the appointment. Horrible!i called just to find out the price for walk in my call was declined twice i called once more i was put on hold for 20 min called again got straight to voicemail then the lady i called she threw me on hold i decided to show up and they aren’t doing anything the lady at the front desk is just on her phone. and everyone checks in on the kisok. no excuses to why she had me on hold for 20 min and i had to drive here.

I missed my primary doctors appointment by going to the wrong location so I decided to go to an urgent care for what I made my appointment for. The gentleman who was working up front in the late afternoon told me thered be a 2 hour wait and said I was better off staying than leaving. (I mentioned leaving and coming back) He told me hed try to get me in sooner and just a few minutes later told me as soon as the next person left, I would be able to be seen. The doctor was nice and sent out a prescription for me. I was so thankful that they were able to get me in much sooner than expected.

Today I had a chest cat scan that was a 6 month follow up. I also happen to have a cough. So I called Northwell to see if I could see a doctor. I told her everything. I asked her if they had access to my cat scan being I had the scan at a Northwell facility. She tells me no, they have nothing to do with that. Confusing, since they have the same name. She tells me to come in tomorrow for an xray. I told her I don’t want an xray, I just had a cat scan. She tells me a scan is betterThan an xray. I say I know that, but I don’t have the results yet and would like to come in tonight and have the dr listen to my chest. She said I have to come in tomorrow for an xray, xrays are not available tonite and tried to book me again for tomorrow. I told her again, I don’t want to come in tomorrow to get a xray when I just had a cat scan today. I want to see the dr tonite and get an antibiotic. She tells me no you can’t do that.I say well I am not coming in tomorrow. She said “Mam you are talking over me”, very nasty. I try to say something and her voice gets higher and stronger and she repeats it again “ Mam you are talking over me”. Then we get disconnected. Really??? I hope it was on a recorded line and her boss listens to this. Who does she think she is?? Is this Northwell on not??

Usually have great results here. Last week though, the provider dismissed my comments and concerns and diagnosed me incorrectly. I ended up in the ER later that day. Im fine, but had the provider actually listened he could have spared me additional wasted time. Not cool....listen to your patients. UPDATE: tried to contact you all based on your response here, and of course the email is undeliverable. So, I paid for a visit to a doctor that completely missed the mark.

Worst place to go especially the front desk lady really rude .she don’t have a manner to talk to the patients. Make sure you guys are word this place . I went to go get my leg checked out. Knee is swollen. I was to get a prescription. Doctor never put it in my chart. They did not send anything to any pharmacy. My daughter was seen as well. They sent the prescription to another location we did not advise.

I have never been before today’s visit nor do I know anyone who has been to this urgent care center. I was so pleased with their cleanliness, quick service, and kind employees. My appointment was at 11:22 am but I showed up around 11 to fill out any paperwork if necessary. Assuming it would be crowded for COVID tests the day before Easter, I was pleasantly surprised that I was one of the only people there. I was in and out by my original appointment time and was very satisfied. I don’t usually write reviews but it was because of their great reviews that I decided to trust them. I’ll definitely be back in the future if need be!

Saw Dr. Patel at 2:38 PM, he said hed send a prescription to the pharmacy...be ready by 4 PM. Went to pharmacy, no script or way to speak to the office due to the offices call center. I call the call center am eventually connected to the office where they explain it was never sent and that they are sending now, 5 PM. Go to pharmacy, no prescription. I contact call center who explains that nobody at the location is answering the phone. I drive to the location where I am told we do not take calls, that is what the call center is for but they will resend the prescription. One star is too generous for this poor excuse of a facility. I took my dad there to be seen and we were told hed be seen in a few minutes. 6 and a half hours later no one calls, we were only seen after I walked in and asked what was going on. They blamed this delay on the receptionist being new and offered an apology. And once the Doctor saw us, we were told to go to the Emergency Room! Weve been to the E.R. and received treatment faster than this urgent care. At this point, just take your loved one or yourself to the hospital unless you have a whole day to wait.

I was very hesitant to go to an urgent care because of the wait time and also how well the providers are but one day I was truly desperate & made an appointment online & did not wait at all whatsoever. Gracious John, PA seen me. Hes better than my own primary care physician! He is very detailed and fully covered every single thing. He made me aware of his thoughts & ideas and we both agreed on a treatment plan. He is very caring & compassionate & really just wants the best for you. Don’t go there if you’re looking to feel better quickly!You’ll be aggravated, inconvenienced, and have to suffer first!I had issues from the beginning, started out with the receptionist wanting to collect hundreds of dollars out of pocket when they take my insurance before being seen. They finally agreed to send a bill which will be paid through insurance.Moving past that debacle, I finally see a doctor who tells me to keep taking over the counter medication and they’ll send a prescription for a nighttime cough medication to my local pharmacy. Great advice for wanting to charge people hundreds of dollars for that ‘visit’ to continue using OTC meds.Moving on, I after my day at work I get to the pharmacy and they don’t even have my prescription!!! Now it’s too late to have this rectified because the urgent care office was closed so I had to suffer until the morning. Once reaching the office, the person on the phone says the doctor didn’t even send a prescription over but they’ll do it now asking me what was supposed to be sent. The appropriate thing to do would be to go ask the doctor what was supposed to be sent, not me!Completely unprofessional, incompetent, and absolutely not helpful!Again, don’t go there if you’re looking to feel better anytime soon!

Lined up at 7:30 am this morning, with my sick mother, just to get an appointment for the two of us. She was looking to get a chest x-ray, and I was hoping to be seen for the ear pain that I have been experiencing for 4+ days. After an hour and a half standing in 30 degree, rainy weather, we were told that they are no longer seeing patients for several days- wouldn’t even allow people to schedule appointments. Basically, an employee opened the door, and told everyone that they were full for the next two days, and will not schedule anything for a later date. When I asked if that applied to patients who were visiting for reasons other than CoVID or testing, I was informed that they were not seeing those kinds of patients. Very frustrating and confusing. The only reason I have left more than one star, if because I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that they are so overwhelmed with CoVID that they are unable to find time or energy for manners or empathy.

First visit ever. Checked in and got registered almost immediately. Seating was super spacious & there are even charging stations next to every other seat, I thought was pretty neat. Staff was super friendly & office was very clean. I gave my symptoms, was seen by a physician, and given flu medication. The script was sent directly to my pharmacy waiting for me. I was out in less than 45 minutes. Way faster than my primary care physicians office would ever be. I recommend this office to anyone looking for quick urgent care! Way to go Northwell Health.

I took my son on Saturday to see the doctor because he had a eye infection, well the doctor prescribed an antibiotic, when I went to Walgreens pharmacy they told me that the antibiotic was discontinued, they tried to call the urgent care a few times, nobody picked up the phone and you cant even leave a message, I tried to call a few times but nobody answered the phone and again you cant leave a message either, I went back to the urgent care on Sunday morning to see if they could change the prescription, it was the only thing that I was looking for because my sons was getting worse and now the other eye started to get red, they told me that I needed to see the doctor again for another prescription, really?????? and of course this meant that I have to pay a co-payment again. I left the urgent care very upset, and I had to use tea and other things to calm my sons eye discomfort, I took my son to HIS doctor yesterday and he is doing much better now.I dont think Im going back to the urgent care again!

Im really disappointed with this place. The staff that works here are lazy specially Grace. I called around 4pm to ask how long was the wait. Also if I can make an appointment or just walk in. She totally misinformed me. Say we have around 8 people on the list meanwhile they dont closed until 8PM. She say you can come in but you will have to wait and we might not be able to see you. My husband and I stopped by and Grace once again say is 8 people with appt that are waiting plus 40 people walkins. She sent my husband the link and within 5 mins we were called to come back!! My Advise would be that front desk AT GO HEALTH URGENT CARE and Customer Service get it together. I called and they said no appointments to walk right in next day 9am front desk said we dont see anyone with out appointment and rude people that work there the only pleasant person who was helpful and kind was the P.A. Dr. Guevara was very informative, took the correct procedure in my care, and showed me she is more than competent as an MD. I wish I worked with more doctors like her. She took concern and was fast. I had to see an MD due to sudden onset 102 fever. It came on suddenly after 5pm.... I was able to book an appointment hassle-free online. Minimal questions but still only needed to fill out 1 page when I got there. I had NO wait time! Staff was friendly. Facility was immaculate. I had blood and urine tests,as usual, but doctor was able to diagnose immediately with urinary infection. I had NO urinary symptoms so would never have guessed that. Now I am taking antibiotic and will soon be on the mend with no time off from work. Love the hours! All in all a great experience.

The nurse and PA were very kind and when I presented a brown near dime sized mark on my elbow that I hadnt seen three days before, they kindly informed me it was an abrasion and not skin cancer. They told me it would resolve and heal within the week and if it didnt to see a dermatologist. I was tested positive with covid on the 21st and was told I was going to get an inhaler because I had discomfort and a weird feeling when breathing . They said they would write the prescription and send it to my pharmacy . The ladies I saw were very nice and I don’t know who’s fault this is maybe it’s their fault . Had an extremely poor experience. I made an appointment to be seen with no issues. I am having flu like symptoms but tested negative for covid multiple times. When I was seen I gave them my symptoms and said I felt I had the flu. They gave me another covid test which came up negative and they told me I was fine to leave. I could barely walk and still have flu symptoms but they only cared if I had covid. I know the way the world is right now but there are still illnesses other than covid. You rushed me out without diagnosing me at all and just gave up after I had a negative covid test.

I wanted to get tested for covid and googled where to get tested near me. This was 1 of the places that came up and with the best rating. It said no appointment need so I went there. Yes you do need an appointment but the fellow at the desk took care of it for me and told me to go wait in my car and fill out the insurance info needed that he sent on my cell. While the staff is incredibly nice when you are at your appointment, there is a real problem with their attention to important details.They gave me amoxicillin when I SPECIFICALLY told them I was allergic. This is unacceptable.Medication has been sent to the wrong pharmacy.There have been TWO instances when our prescriptions took over 24 hours to be filled. Both times we have had to make phone calls to CVS and Northwell MULTIPLE times to find out when and where our medication was going to be ready. Both times we were told they were “personally going to call them in” and both times it has still taken until the next day for the prescriptions to finally be filled.For two weeks straight I’ve had to take off of work 2 days to make sure me and my mom have gotten the medications we’ve needed because they weren’t filled the morning we went to Northwell.I would have written in a survey, but we were never given our diagnostic packets, or an email afterwards to do so from my appointments.Again, the team is very kind- but the follow through is extremely disorganized and the attention to detail overall is not there.

Overall a good experience. I came in with my 2 year old daughter who had a nursemaid elbow due to my 4 year old playing with her. Only thing I didnt appreciate was that the physician assistant who helped us asked (I guess) an intern if he wanted to do it. Meaning to pop her elbow back in place. Intern said no he rather watch and after the physician assistant helped my daughters arm, the intern said wow Ive never seen this in person. Next time PLEASE ask the parents permission. As a parent who is already stressed out about my 2 year old being in pain, it WOULDNT have been okay if an intern or someone who doesnt have experience giving it a try on my 2 year old for their first time.

I went in to have my daughter and I tested for Covid because she had just started school and came home two days later with a runny nose and fever. We both tested negative. A few days later I checked the portal for the results so that I could print them out and give them to my daughters school as proof that she was negative. The results were not there. I called and they said to come in to pick up a paper copy. I went in and the Physicians Assistant never entered the results!! They claimed that they couldn’t see his notes because they’re “private”, but my guess is he didn’t note anything. They said they would email him and he would enter the results. I called the next day and they said they haven’t heard from him yet. I asked if they could call him instead and they claimed to have no information on him other than his email. I lost my temper because now I’m paying for childcare until she can go back to school. I asked if I could make an appointment to get her tested again so she could be cleared for school and I was discouraged from doing that and was told to just wait to hear back from this PA. It’s two days later and I haven’t heard anything from anyone. HORRIBLE! UNPROFESSIONAL. They won’t see me again. What else are they not doing if they can’t enter a simple test result. Plus the coverup for this moronic PA is ridiculous.

What a joke this place is. I couldnt get an appointment with my real doctor until Monday and I was pretty sick so I decided to try this place. The people were nice, but the doctor had no idea what he was talking about. Tested me for the flu which I told him I never get the flu and I get bronchitis a lot, he said my lungs were clear. After that test was negative he said I had a head cold gave me nasel spray and a basically over the counter cough syrup that didnt help. After being in bed the next 2 days (some head cold) I go to my real doctor on Monday and it turns out I have BRONCHITIS and an ear infection. Thanks for nothing! :)

I had gone to this Urgent Care before and the staff is very nice, but this visit I was very disappointed. I have been getting fevers on and off and a very terrible sore throat, but when they measured my temperature it was under the tongue it did read normal; When I explained it to the PA, he tested me for the flu and then it came out negative, so then he immediately said I had a viral infection. Well when I had gotten home I had the worse chills and my fever spiked up. I ended up making an appointment with my primary doctor towards the end of her day because I felt this was no normal viral infection. Well my primary doctor measured my temperature through my ear and it read..103, plus she checked my throat after I told her and it showed pus and you know what that means, yep I tested positive for Strep people! well now I am getting the care and treatment I need.

This is my 2nd visit to this place, 1st one was not upto my satisfaction i had to run to an ER after that, thought everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I know me not going to this place is not gonna effect them at all but why do i have to wait 1 hour to see a doctor when i made my appointment 5 hours ago, I mean whats the excuse. Crippled healthcare industry. My appointment was @ 05:53 pm on 03/21/2021, like promised i texted HERE @ 05:50 pm, let aside when i entered, the Physician Assistant came to see me @ 06:55 pm and in 5 mins she said to get a urine test, my question is why u didnt had my urine test done before so that u would had something to talk about.

Horrible. The facility closed at 8pm. And I went in at 730 pm on a Saturday 30 mintues before closing and they didnt want to be bothered. Were giving me a hard time about taking a covid test. Very rude employees. Especially the person at the front desk. Dont be in the healthcare field if you think your going to be able to leave your shift at exactly closing hour. And have more compassion for people who are sick.

DONT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE, UNLESS UR OK WITH DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE.On Chrismas Day My Girlfriend Was Very Sick So We Decided To Go To This Urgent Care Due To It Being The Only Urgent Care Open.We Called Ahead Of Time And Made Sure They Were Open.We Were Told By A Man Over The Phone That The Urgent Care Was Open Until ***8PM*** We Showed Up There At **5PM**In The Process Of Walking Up To The Door We Noticed Mulitple Employees Standing At The Counter Drinking Coffee And Talking. We Knock On The Door And A Lady Came Out And Told Us They Were Closed, As The Man From The Phone Call Walked Away From Were We Could See Him. The Lady Tried Lying Saying We Didnt Call, Then Turned Around And Left With The Left Over Staff In The Building 4-5 People.They Walked Out And Sat In There Vehicles, Leaving All The Lights And Computers On.One Lady Proceeded To Instigate My Girlfriend By Repeatedly Laughing At Her For Crying In Pain While Leaving Her Car Door Open. I Then Walked To My Girlfriend To Bring Her Into The Car And The Employee Had Spit On The Ground In Front Of Me, Landing partially On My Shoes.P.S Once We Had Left The Parking Lot And Pulled Over To GPS Our Way To The Hospital. The Employees Returned Inside The Building.Legal Complaints Will Be Filed

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. I tried going there for a Covid test before work after I was contacted by a contact tracer for the new Covid variant. After filling out the form texted to me online I got a time slot for 10:52 and I was supposed to start work at 11. I went in to simply inquire if I could possibly go in earlier but the person at the front desk wouldn’t even let me talk. She yelled at me to check for a text message before I could even say anything and when I tried to open my mouth she yelled at me to go away and pointed to the opposite side of the room and then wouldn’t even talk to me. In the end, I couldn’t even say anything because she literally wouldn’t let me say a single word or try to listen to what I have to say. I understand it’s a stressful time for healthcare but she literally wouldn’t let me speak.

The doctor is super nice here. The black haired woman that manages the patients before they see the doctor is very rude and treats you like you are an idiot. She attempted guessing at my medical history instead of just looking it up in the computer in front of her. Four key strokes later turns out she was wrong in her guess, still treated me like an idiot.They actually managed to make my illness worse and caused me to be sick for about a month longer than I would of needed to be if I had gone to a real doctor.

Ordinarily, I love Northwell GoHealth. This was my first and only time I will ever go to the Bayshore location. I called ahead since I don’t live close to make sure they would see my fiancé who is really, really ill. I was assured there would be a wait but that they would see him. To get there and be turned away only a half hour later is not appropriate. I went back inside with him to explain the situation and was audibly chuckled at by a security guard and the man at the front desk. I understand everyone in healthcare is stretched thin, but no one going to an urgent care wants to be there for no reason or be laughed at.This really could have been a case of a call being routed to a center that didn’t have the correct information. However, we didn’t deserve the way we were treated.

Went in person and made an appointment for an X-ray exam and confirmed multiple times via text and call. The day of I receive a text asking if I was getting a COVID test… no… I need an X-ray… they canceled my appointment last minute saying the X-ray technician was sick and did not come in today. Frustrating because this was the only place I could get a X-ray appointment due to everything being taken over by COVID testing and COVID related appointments. Nothing like last minute

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Woman at the front desk was rude to my mother and I. Stood outside 30 minutes before they opened even with an appointment at 9:07AM. They told me they were at their capacity only one hour after they opened. Please do yourself a favor and go to the riverhead location. Although it is a drive it is worth it. Please do not waste your time I went three days in a row for them to tell me the same thing before 9:30AM.

Horrible, horrible horrible, Avoid at all costs! I visited Northwell GoHealth- Bayshore with my parents. My father, who has Alzheimers/dementia, needed an EKG and urine screening. My father’s geriatric psychiatrist directed us to go into an urgent care to get both done, especially the EKG as my father is on a bunch of medications for his condition, which in turn can cause issues with his heart. The geriatric psychiatrist also recommended that we screen for UTI because of my father’s behavior and/or symptoms.After a long wait, we saw PA Jesse who informed us that the insurance would not cover an EKG because it was not “medically necessary” and that we would have to pay out of pocket. I told him that we had a script from the geriatric psychiatrist and neurologist for the EKG. Jesse said that he understood, but because that’s not what we were there for (it was what we came for). He said that they could not do it without charging a self pay fee for the EKG. A female medical assistant then informed me that we would also have to pay a separate self pay visit fee if we wanted the EKG. This is in addition to them billing the insurance for the visit for the urine and urine related fees. I explained to Jesse that my dad was not verbally expressive due to his dementia and that he did hold his chest a few times. This was all ignored. He claimed it was protocol and said that he couldn’t do anything about it. He refused to even document anything about the chest pain that I mentioned. Not proper practice. He should have documented both complaint and the refusal of treatment in case anything happened, but of course he didn’t.EVEN WORST! He assured us that he would at least have the urine sent out to the lab for a urine culture. So I figured it was not a complete waste (or so I thought). A couple of days later I got a call from someone to discuss the lab results and was informed that the lab never received my father’s urine specimen. Some way, somehow the sample was “lost” that’s all the explanation that was offered.I then spoke to Amanda from the Bayshore office, who was helpful and informed me that it was possible that the sample was tossed out. I was given a lot of run around before I could finally speak to Jesse and a manager. After days of back and forth, when I spoke to Jesse, he was still very insensitive, rude, pompous and had a smart aleck attitude. He sarcastically apologized and stated that they were working with humans and that mistakes happen. He said that he did order the urine culture and was not sure what happened to sample thereafter. He probably ordered the sample to be thrown out as well. In any event, truly scary that you would just “lose” a patients sample. I explained to Jesse that I took the day off of work and travelled from Brooklyn. I also explained how hard it was to get my father, in his condition and age, to come in and give that sample. He was completely insensitive, not someone who should be in the medical field. Bottomline, they do not care about patients here and I advise to go elsewhere for care.

My experience has always been awesome, but who ever worked on the day i went declined me coverage. I didnt know my health first insurance was inactive. I was willing to pay the regular fee for patients who come without insurance but sadly this girl at the front desk said i should take up my stuff and step aside and sosorsosort out my insurance stuff, when i am done she can assist me. I was miserably sick and needed to be seen since my PCP was not in town. I could barely walk but rather than giving me an option she basically told me to step aside. That attitude ticked me off. There was another lady who didnt have her ID and they made her wait regardless of her age and being so unwell. That girl at front desk definitely didnt need to be there.So rude, and unprofessional. Found my new hotspot to go to and thats their competitor!

Absolutely disgusted by this place. There is one person behind the desk who is doing the job of 3 people. Staff lacks sense of communication and direction. This place is highly understaffed. Extremely disappointed. I sincerely feel terriblefor the workers of this facility. This is an issue that needs to be resolved in order to help the patients get the care they need immediately.

The facility was very nice. The PA was hurried, didnt listen, rushed in and out. There was no backup line, just didnt want to spend time to figure out the the symptoms and a treatment plan. It was a waste of time, money, and delayed my recovery another 48 hours until I received appropriate advice and treatment.

Good luck trying to call this office. I have tried to call this place on about 3 dozen occasions over the past 5 days. No one answers. As an urgent care/medical facility it is common courtesy and is in the best interest of patients to be able to call the medical establishment you were treated at.

I went to this so called urgent healthcare on Tuesday, six days ago with severe muscular and back pain. The PA gave me steroids and muscle relaxers and said a Northwell orthopedist would contact me and I would see the orthopedist in a couple of days. By Friday, I had not heard anything including even a courtesy follow up. I called and the person answering the call took a while to confirm that I had been in there and when she did locate my chart she said I was in the system and an orthopedist would be calling me asap. I told her I was concerned that when the prednisone ran out on Saturday, I would be in horrific pain again and unable to sleep. Well, it is 2 AM Monday morning and I am in excruciating pain unable to sit or lie down. This is absurd and the worst medical treatment I have ever received.

I couldnt get in to see my doctor and someone suggested I try the Go-Health Urgent Care in Bay Shore. I was unsure what kind of care I would get for an infection I had, but what I can tell you is that they were wonderful! I received excellent care, everything was explained fully as to what the next steps in treating the infection were. I highly recommend this location. Very pleased.

Extremely disappointed with the care I received from the doctor at go health in Bayshore on 1/2/19. I came in with a Terrible cough, and congestion. I haven’t slept In 2 days from all the coughing and I am an RN who works at the hospital. The doctor told me that I had a respiratory infection/bronchitis and send meHome on steroids and but nothing for my cough to help me sleep at night. I am still coughing and I am miserable. Not happy with their care!

They were rude over the phone, when i got there with a cut in my left thumb i just walked in and lady told me to read the instructions and wait outside very rude. With the pain in my finger i didnt even pay attention to the signs that were on the front door. So i went outside read the instructions it said i had to register online and wait in the car. So i tried with my one hand to register and it said for the time tomorrow at 8:17 a.m like really! I just left and went to the hospital.

The employees sitting down, they write you down on a sheet that you can tell that the last on the list was at 4 in the afternoon, I arrived at 6 in the afternoon, they closed at 8 and that they could not attend me and what if there was A space will attend to me but they called me and that I had to leave the place and could not wait there? Do you know how cold it is outside? I was just refused treatment at this facility. I made the mistake of mentioning my injury happened at work but I was not pursueing workers Comp. I’m suffering from an infection that has caused a traveling red line up my arm and pain under my arm pit, accompanied by extreme pain at the injury site. Not one person looked at my injury or asked about my concerns, just told me they couldn’t see me and turned me away.
